The whole world today is asking these questions – Why this Pandemic? Where is God? Why God is letting this happen? Why prayers are not answered to eradicate this virus? And so many more questions?
All mankind, right now, is caught in the vortex of this swiftly moving Covid-19 pandemic marking the utter destruction of this world man built. Apart from this, there are natural disasters in many parts of the world. The worlds’ economy is disintegrating. The world has come to a standstill, and spiritual leaders and world leaders don’t know what to do, the world is in chaos.
This is all happening because a tiny virus which can’t be seen with the human eye only under a microscope which has plunged the world in fear and death. Mankind have made giant strides in education, technology, medicine, science, computers, space travel etc. but can’t pin point where and how this virus started. The World Health Organization has no answers when or how to eradicate this virus; scientists and medical researchers are striving to find a cure and a vaccine but of no avail. The whole world is on its knees praying to God to take away this virus but no answer, it is nearly six months now.
Covid-19 Pandemic – WHY?
The answer is that the whole world has rebelled, rejected and turned away from God and His ways, except for a few.
The world has gone its way and doing what it wants forgetting that God is the creator of this universe and everything in it, what mankind has achieved is because God has given the wisdom and knowledge to do so. Instead, man is trying to prove that there is no God and that sin does not exist in the world.
“The greatest sin in the world today is losing the sense of sin.”

“When you lose the sense of sin, you lose the sense of the Kingdom of God.”

Sin is the cause of all trouble, the root of all sorrow, it has crippled the nature of man, destroyed the inner harmony of man’s life. It has robbed man of his nobility and separated man from God. It has caused man to be caught in satan’s trap.
All mental disorders, all sicknesses, all perversions, all destruction,
all wars find their original root in sin. It causes madness in the brain, and
poison in the heart. It is quicksand sucking man under, a deadly virus eating its way into the souls of men. It is a cesspool of corruption contaminating every area of life.
The Church which Jesus Christ established when He said to Peter, “I tell you,
you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it.” – Mathew 16:18; this church which Christ
established as been fragmented, today we have roughly forty thousand
Christian denominations each one claiming to be the true church.
The Catholic Church is the oldest, which traces its roots to Peter and the church which Jesus established. The Catholic Church in recent times is in disarray, some of its clergy have gone astray and have lost their vocation. Many other churches are in turmoil, preaching prosperity gospel and in the name of Jesus Christ accumulating fame and fortune. This was not the plan and vision what Jesus wanted for the church.
In April 30, 1863 President Abraham Lincoln of America saw the nation who had forgotten God – a nation drunk with success not due to its own efforts taking all the credit and glory to itself; he called upon the nation for a day of fasting and praying to confess the nation’s sin before God. The fate of the nation hung in the balance when he issued this proclamation. But God heard and answered that great national prayer and the nation was preserved!
After sometime America forgot this and went its own way and we can see the result of it today.
Today the threat to our fate is a thousand times more seriously hanging in the balance, we do not have a president or a prime minister with the vision, and courage to bring our nation to their knees.
Is Covid-19 a prelude to what is to come as per the prophecies given by the
prophets and in the book of Revelation in the Bible; if so then the world has to return to God its creator. God loves the world but if the world rebels what should He do?
The prophet Isaiah prophesies –
“Behold, the Lord will lay waste the earth and make it desolate, and He will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. The city of chaos is broken down, every house is shut up so that none can enter. The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth is violently shaken.”
Isaiah 24:1, 10 &19.
I strongly believe that through this pandemic, God wants His people to return to Him and acknowledge that He is our Father and He sent His only son Jesus Christ to save the world and the Holy Spirit to dwell within each one and to lead and guide His people according to His will.
Father God says to the world today –
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray
2 Chronicles 7:14.
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
This world and everyone and everything belongs to God; He will not go back on His promise if we are faithful and obey His command.
